The ongoing 7-day NSS camp organized by K.C. College of Education at Govt. School Pounichak entered its third day with a symposium on "The Role of Youth in Maintaining National Integration"and a guest lecture by Shri Krishnarvind from the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).
The symposium witnessed vibrant discussions among participants, highlighting the significance of youth engagement in promoting national integration. Students presented insightful papers on various aspects,including:
- Cultural diversity and unity
- Social cohesion and inclusivity
- Education's role in national integration
- Youth-led initiatives for communal harmony
Shri Krishnarvind in his lecture emphasized the importance of spiritual values in achieving national
integration. He stressed:
- The need for selfless service and compassion
- Understanding and respecting diverse traditions
- Cultivating empathy and tolerance
- Youth's potential to drive positive change
Dr. Sanjay Tickoo, Principal of the college appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation. NSS Program Officer, Ms Priya Gupta expressed gratitude to Shri Krishnarvind and praised the participants;
enthusiasm. "This symposium and lecture have enriched our understanding of national integration. We're committed to
empowering youth to become agents of change," said Ms Priya Gupta.
The camp will continue with workshops, discussions, and community service activities, fostering a sense of unity and social responsibility among participants.
